Tomato-Basil Bruschetta

  1. First, pre-heat your oven to 425°F. Bake the slices of bread on a baking sheet for 6 minutes, or until toasted.
  2. After toasting the bread, slice the garlic clove in half and rub the sliced side against the top side of each bread slice.
  3. Drizzle each slice of toast with approximately 1/2 tsp olive oil.
  4. Dice the tomato into small cubes and place into a small bowl. Finely chop the basil and place into the bowl with tomatoes. Add in the balsamic vinegar and remaining olive oil. Toss to combine.
  5. Spread the tomato mixture over the toast. Season with a little salt and ground black pepper. Enjoy!
