First of all, Happy New Year, everyone!
Second of all, sorry for not being around for a few days. I just started a new job, and my energy has been completely sapped. Combine [not used to getting up at 6 am to work 8 hours] with [insomnia over the stress of starting a new job] and you get one exhausted Cathy.
I’ve still been cooking, though. Don’t worry. I’m still struggling with time management in general.. specifically, finding the time to set up the props for the pretty pictures, taking the pictures, downloading/uploading the pictures, editing the pictures, typing the words, and all that fun. I find that for my creative juices to really flow enough for photography, I have to be less exhausted than I have been lately… so you might just have to settle for boring photos for a week or so.
I have about three recipes “in the tubes” for you that I’ll hopefully be posting soon.

are what you have to look forward to.
Oh, yeah. I almost forgot to mention- I plan on taking my lunch to work every day, because I only have a 30-minute break and not really enough time to get off-campus for a meal. Not to mention the money-saving and health benefits from packing your own lunch. With that in mind, you can expect to see me posting a lot of work lunch-friendly meals in the near future. I also hope to post some healthier fare in general to help whittle off any extra holiday pounds.
That’s it for now. It’s 10:30 p.m. and now my bedtime. *sad face*
